Before contracting services with Wedicity, please carefully read the following Terms and Conditions and make sure that you understand them. Wedicity reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any such changes will take effect as soon as they are posted on the website, it is your responsibility to read the Terms and Conditions on each occasion you visit the website. All transactions made with Wedicity will be subject to these Terms and Conditions. Wedicity reserves the right to cancel a contract at any stage.

 

Wedicity cannot be held responsible for any order discrepancies or services not directly rendered by Wedicity, LLC.  

 

Payment

 

A retainer fee is due at the time of contract signing to secure the date of your wedding services. Dates are not held until a contract is signed and the retainer payment is made in full.

Additional payments are made in installment payments outlined in your contract under Investment of Services.

 

Sales Tax

 

Rental items secured by Wedicity, LLC used within Illinois will include 10.25% sales tax.

 

Refunds

 

We cannot process refunds due to errors on approved timelines, rental quotes, floral quotes or other 3rd party vendor services regardless of where the error originated. While we take great care to call attention to any errors we may see during the planning process, final signed contracts and approved timelines are ultimately the responsibility of the client.  

 

Cancellations

 

You may cancel your signed agreement at any time with written notice. Cancellation of contract will forfeit the non-refundable deposited retainer and any previous installments made. If a cancellation occurs in less than 30 days of the wedding date, no refunds will be given on previous installment payments made and the final balance will be due in full. This contractural agreement is non-transferrable. 

 

Copyright

 

All forms, guides, inspiration boards, questionnaires timelines and content remain the copyright of Wedicity. They may not be reproduced in any form without prior written permission from Wedicity. Any improper or illegal use of the forms, guides, inspiration boards, questionnaires, timelines and content or any other intellectual property, legal action will be pursued.

 

It is the clients’ responsibility to get permission to reproduce any copyrighted material. You shall indemnify Wedicity on written demand in respect of any third party claims that material provided by you infringes that third party’s copyright. Wedicity reserves the right to refuse use of photographs if they do not meet the standards required for a high quality print.

 

Photo Release Clause

 

Client agrees to allow any wedding images for display on social media, advertising, website, blog, magazine submission or any other means of promotion for Wedicity Wedding Planning & Design. 
Client waives any right of payment, royalties, or any other consideration for the use of the images. 
Client waives the right to inspect or approve the finished product, including written or electronic copy, wherein client's likeness appears. 

 

If you do not want your personal information to appear in promotional material, you must provide us with a written request at the time of contracting our services.
